While downtown on a rainy weekend, I decided to grab a slice of Pizza from Brooklyn.
This New York style pizzeria is on the south end of Robson street, across from the entrance to the Public Library.
There were four varieties of pizza pie available, and I went with the classic Pepperoni.
This is a thin crust pizza, with fresh crusted tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, and lots of thin pepperoni slices. The pie has some nice leoparding on the bottom; it’s crisp around the edges and on the bottom. The slices are very large and wide, but thin enough to fold the pizza on itself. It’s a good pizza, but a little wetter than I like (and wetter than I remember of the pizza I ate in NYC).
The space is very small and cramped, and it’s probably better to get the pizza to go.
The service is pretty minimal, as would be expected of a take out place, but the counter server was very pleasant.
